R. Craig Campbell

R. Craig Campbell has been practicing law in New Westminster, British Columbia since 1983. He had the good fortune of being mentored in the law by Dennis D.G. Milne, Robert B. Selkirk, QC, and Brian B. Corbould, QC.

Craig has appeared as an advocate on behalf of his clients in all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also participated in numerous successful mediations for the benefit of his clients.

Craig has always practiced general civil and criminal litigation. He has taught continuing education programmes in business and family law. He has conducted a variety of legal advice clinics. For many years, his preferred areas of practice have been family law, Personal Injury Claims, estate litigation, and wills and estates.

Craig was a founding member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He is currently a member of the civil litigation, estate litigation, family law, Personal Injury Claims, and wills, estates and trusts sections of the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.

Craig grew up in North Vancouver and Kerrisdale. He played his minor hockey at the Hollyburn Country Club. He graduated from Carson Graham Secondary School. He studied at the University of British Columbia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1982.

Although he has been a resident of Port Moody for many years, Craig always enjoys his annual sojourn on Salt Spring Island. His pastimes include travelling in Canada and abroad (most recently India and East Africa), golfing, scuba diving, photography, listening to music, and reading.
